Answer:

x=4/7, y=33/7

Step-by-step explanation:

3x-y=3

=> y= 3x-3 .....(i)

Now, putting the value of y in,

2x-3y=5

=> 2x-3(3x-3)=5

=> 2x-9x+9=5

=> - 7x = - 4

=> 7x = 4

=> x=4/7 ..... answer 1

Now putting the value of x in eq. (i),

y=3x-3

=> y= 3(4/7) + 3

=> y= (12/7) + (21/7)

=> y= 33/7 ...... answer 2

hope it may help you,
