21x + 47y=110 .......(1)
47x + 21=162 ........(2)

Add(1) and (2)
21x + 47y = 110
47x + 21y = 162
68x + 68y = 272

Dividing throughout by 68,we get.....
x + y =4...............(3)

subtracting (1) from (2)....
47x + 21y=162
21x + 47y=110
(-) (-) (-)
26x -26y=52

Dividing throughout by 26 we get...
x-y=2 ......(4)

Add (3) and (4)
x + y =4
x - y =2
2x = 6
x=6÷2
×=3

SUBSTITUTING X=3 in (4)......
x - y = 2
3 - y = 2
- y =2-3
-y=-1
y=1

Solution of the given equation is (x,y) is (3,1)
