The given equations are

2x + y - 35 = 0 -(i)

3x + 4y - 65 = 9 -(ii)

x/(-65 + 140) = y/(-105 + 130) = 1/(8 - 3)

x/75 = y/25 = 1/5

x = 15, y = 5

So, the solution is (15, 5)

2x+y-35=3x+4y-65
2x-3x+y-4y=-65+35
-x-3y=-30
-(x+3y)=-30
x+3y=30
