x/4+ y/3= 8​

x - y = 4. eq. 1

x = 4 + y

put this value in equation 2

4 + y /4 + y/3 = 8

take LCM

12 + 3y +4y/ 12 = 8

12 + 7y = 8*12

7y = 8*12 -12

7y = 12(8-1)

7y = 12*7

y = 12

the value of y is 12

x = 12+4

x = 16
