x = 6   y = 0

Step-by-step explanation:

x+3y=6

3y= 6 -x

and second equation   2x-3y=12

                                        2x - [6 - x ] = 12

                                       2x -6 +x =12

                                       3x = 12 + 6

                                       3x = 18

                                         x = 6

put   in first   6 + 3y = 6

                     3 y = 0

                y = 0 ​
