Hello ✌️✌️✌️✌️✌️

x + y = 5 (Equation number 1)

2x - 3y = 4 (Equation number 2)

Equation number 2 - 2*(Equation number 1)

2x - 2x - 3y - 2y = 4 - 10

-5y = -6

y = 6/5

Sub y = 6/5 in Equation number 1

x + 6/5 = 5

x = 5 - 6/5

x = 19/5

Answer:

x=19/5

y=6/5

Step-by-step explanation:

multiply eqn 1×2

2x+2y=10

2x-3y=4

5y=6

y=6/5

putting the value of y in eqn1

x+y=5

x+6/5=5

x=5-6/5

x=19/5

hence,

x=19/5

y=6/5

i hope it will be helpful for you
