11x + y = 32 ——— multiplied by 7
77x + 7y = 32
3x - 7y = 16
___________
80x = 48
x = 48/80
x = 6/10
x = 3/5

Substituting value of x to find value of y
11(3/5) + y = 32
33/5 + y = 32
y = 32 - 33/5
y = (160 - 33)/5
y = 127/5
y = 25.4

Thus, x=3/5 or x = 0.6
And, y = 127/5 or y = 25.4
