8x+5y=9 ----(1) and 3x+2y=4----(2), there after (1) is multiply by 2 and (2) is multiply by 5, now 16x+10y=18 ---(3) and 15x+10y=20---(4) ,,now (3)minus (4) equal to 16x-15x+10y-10y=18-20.now x=-2. x=-2 (3) no. equation placed. 16*-2+10y=18 equal to -32+10y=18 now 10y=18+32 then 10y=50,now y=50/10. now y=5. It shows that x=-2 and y=5.
