5x-7y=2.........x4. =>20x-14y=8............(2)

Substituting from eq (2) to eq (1), We got,

=> -y=-3

=> Y= 3

Now, Putting the value (y=3) in equation (1), we got

=> 20x-15y = 5

=> 20x(-15)(3) = 5

=> 20x =5 + 45

=>x = 50/20

=> x = 5/2

Therefore, X = 5/2 and y= 3
