Hope this answer will help you and plz mark it as brainliest.

Step-by-step explanation:

x+y = 7 ......(1)

x= 7-y .

5x+12y = 7 .....(2)

putting value of x in equation 2.

5×(7-y) + 12y = 7 .

35- 5y +12y = 7 .

7y = -28.

y= -4 .

putting value of y in equation 1 we get

x+y=7 .

x+(-4) =7

x= 7+4 = 11.

Step-by-step explanation:

x+y=-1 (eqn 1)

x =-1-y

5x+12y =7 ( eqn 2)

SUBSTITUTING VALUE OF X FROM EQUATION 1 TO EQUATION 2

5(-y-1)+12y=7

-5y-5+12y=7

7y=7+5

y = 12/7

X=-1-12/7

X=-19/7

Hope it will help u pls mark it brainliest
