Solve the following problem: A boy started walking from point P in a straight line and reached point Q, which was 2 km from point P. After reaching point Q, the boy turned around and walked along the same path to reach point R, which is 0.5 km from point Q. The journey of the boy is indicated in the image below. Study the image and answer the questions that follow.
a) Calculate the total distance covered by the boy.
b)Calculate the total displacement of the boy.
c) If the boy takes 30 minutes to walk from point P to point Q, then calculate the speed with which the boy walks from point P to point Q.​

x= 5-3=2m in 8 sec

after 24sec he will 6m away from an initial position

He moves further 5m forward then he falls in a pit which is 11m away from the initial position.
