 According to question,

x+y=15  

and

y=2x+3

⇒2x−y=−3  

On adding (i) and (ii). we get,

x+y+2x−y=15−3

⇒3x=12

⇒x=4

Substitute the x=4 in (i). we get,

4+y=15

⇒y=11

∴ fraction is $\frac{4}{11}$
