Answer:

 \\ 4m ^{2}  - 12m - 7 = 0 \\ 4m ^{2}  + 2m - 14m - 7 = 0 \\  = 2m(2m + 1) - 7(2m + 1) = 0 \\ (2m + 1)(2m - 7) = 0 \\ m =   - \frac{1}{2}  \\ and \\  \: m =  \frac{7}{2}

Hello Mate!!

4m^2 -12m-7=0

4m^2 -14m +2m -7 =0

2m(2m-7) + 1*(2m-7)=0

(2m-7)*(2m+1) = 0

m= (7/2) & m= -(1/2)

Here is the required answer.
