x^2 -10x +6 =0
by using quadratic formula , D= b^2 - 4ac
D = (-10)^2 - (4×1×6)
D = 100 - 24
D= 76
To find the roots of this quadratic equation , we need to use this formula,
X = ( -b + √D) / 2a
or X = (-b -√D) /2a
X = (10 + √76) / (2×1)
X =( 10+8.71)/ 2 { √76 = 8.71}
X = 9.36
or
X = (10-8.71) / 2
X = 0.64
So , the answers are 9.36 , 0.64
