SOLUTION

Given,

 =  >  \frac{4}{x}  + 3y = 14 \\  \\  =  >  \frac{3}{x}  - 4y = 23 \\  \\   let \:  \:  \:  \frac{1}{x}  = u

Then the equation becomes

=) 4u+3y=14............×4

=) 3u-4y=23..............×3

By solving the equations we get,

=) 16u+12y=56

=) 9u -12y=69

=) 25u= 125

=) u= 125/25

=) u= 5

x= 1/5

y= -2
