Answer: 40/3 N

Explanation:-

F1 is greater than F2

For block mass 2kg

T - F2 = 2a

T - 10 = 2a --------(1)

For block of mass 4kg

F1 - T =4a.

20 - T = 4a---------(2)

Acceleration (a) will be :-

F2 - F1 =(m1 + m2)a

10 = 6a

a = 5/3 m/s^2

tension \:  = 2 \times  \frac{5}{3} + 10

tension =  \frac{40}{3} newton

Hence ,

Tension in the string connected between the blocks is 40/3 N.
