Volume of cylinder = πr²h
= 22/7 × (4/2)² × 14 m³
= 176 m³
Now area of embankment
= π( R² - r² )
= 22/7 ( OA² - OB² )
= 22/7 [ ( x + 2 )² - 2² ]
= 22/7 ( x² + 4 + 4x - 4 )
= 22/7 ( x² + 4x )
