 \frac{x}{3}  + 1 =  \frac{7}{15}  \\  \\  \frac{x + 3}{3}  =  \frac{7}{15}  \\  \\ x + 3 =  \frac{7}{5}  \\  \\ 5x + 15 = 7 \\  \\ 5x = 7 - 15 \\  \\ 5x =  - 8 \\  \\ x =   \frac{ - 8}{5}  \\  \\ x =  - 1.6

x/3+1=7/15

x/3=7/15-1

x/3=7-5/5

(on taking LCM)

x/3=-8/15

x=-8/15×3=-8/5
