2x + y = 5 \\ 3x - y = 5 \\ add \: both \: equation \\ 5x - y + y = 10 \\ 5x = 10 \\ x = 2 \\ put \: x = 2 \: in \: first \: equation \\ you \: get \\ 2 \times 2 + y = 5 \\ y = 1

HEY MATE!!

YOUR ANS IS HERE ⤵⤵

2x + y = 5

3x - y = 5
__________
5x + 0 = 10

5x = 10

x = 10/5

x = 2

Substitute x value in any one of the equation

2x + y = 5

2(2) + y = 5

4 + y = 5

y = 5 - 4

y = 1

Therefore x = 2, y = 1
