Answer:

Shekhars age will be 40 years

Muruli's age will be 10 years

Step-by-step explanation:

let shekar's present age be x

let Murali's present age be y

Shekars present age is 4 times Muralis age

x = 4y ---- ( i )

After 5 year's, Shekar's age will be 3 times Muralis age.

After 5 years :-

Shekar's age = x + 5

murali's age = y + 5

⠀⠀⠀⠀

( x + 5 ) = 3( y + 5 )

⠀⠀⠀⠀

( 4y + 5 ) = 3( y + 5 ) --- [ from eq ( i ) x = 4y ]

⠀⠀⠀⠀

4y + 5 = 3y + 15

⠀⠀⠀⠀

12y - 3y = 15 - 5

⠀⠀⠀⠀

y = 10 years

Therefore murulis age is 10

putting value of y in eq ( i )

⠀⠀⠀⠀

x = 4y

⠀⠀⠀⠀

x = 4 x 10

⠀⠀

x = 40 years

Therefore Shekhar's age is 40

hope it helps and mark as brainliest please
