THANKS FOR ASKING..

QUESTION:-

solve the following simaltaneous equation . 4m+3n=18,3m-2n=5

SOLUTIONS:-

4m+3n =18 ---(1)

3m -2n = 5 ---(2)

we solve this equation by using value putting method..

• from (1)

● 4m + 3n = 18

● \: n =  \frac{18 - 4m}{3}  \:  \:  \:  \:  -- (3)

• put this value in (2)....

● 3m - 2n = 5

● \: 3m \:  - 2( \frac{18 - 4m}{3} ) = 5

● \: 3m -   \frac{(36 - 8m)}{3}  = 5

● \:  \frac{9m - 36 + 8m}{3}  = 5

● 17m -36 = 15

● 17m = 15+36

● 17m = 51

● m = 3

• now , put m = 3 in (3)

● \: n \:  =  \frac{18 - 4m}{3}

● \: n \:  =  \frac{18 - 4(3)}{3}

● \: n =  \frac{18 - 12}{3}

● \: n \:  =  \: \frac {6}{3}

● n = 2

ANSWER:-

so the answer is m = 3 & n = 2 .
