Answer:

32x+33y=-(1)

33x+32y=34(2)

equation (2) from (1)we get

x+y=-3

key=x-3(3)

substituting the value of y in equation (1)

We get 32x+33(x-3)=31

or32x+33x-99=31

or 65x=130

or x=2

from equation (3)

y=2-3=1

Answer:

33x + 32y = 34_____________(i)

32x + 33y = 31 _____________(ii)

Adding eqⁿ (i) & (ii)

33x + 32y = 34

(+)32x + 33y = 31

____________________

65x + 65y = 65

65 (x + y ) = 65

x + y = 65/ 65

x + y = 1 ________________(iii)

_________________________________________

Subtract eqⁿ (ii) from (i)

33x + 32y = 34

(–)32x + 33y = 31

___________________

x – y = 3 ______________(iv)

__________________________________

Adding eqⁿ (iii) & (iv)

x + y = 1

(+)x – y = 3

________________

2x = 4

x = 4/2

x = 2

Put x=2 in eqⁿ (iii),

We get,

y = 1

Hence, x = 2 & y = 1 is the solution of given equation.
