4x +  \frac{6}{y}  = 15

x =  \frac{1}{4} (15 -  \frac{6}{y} )

equation 2 is

6x -  \frac{8}{y}  = 14

substituting the value of x in the above equation we have the following

22.5 - 9/y -8/y =14

=> 8.5y=17

=> y=2

and x=3

Since

y=px-2

we get

px=4

p=4/3
