2x + y = 13 2nd eqn

add 1st and 2nd eqn

2x - 3y + 2x + y = 22

4x - 2y = 22

2(2x - y ) = 22

2x - y = 11 3rd eqn

now add 2nd and 3rd eqn

2x + y + 2x - y = 24

4x = 24

x = 6

now substitute x value in 1st eqn

2(6) - 3y = 9

-3y = -3

y = 1
