Solve the following simultaneous equation.
4x + y = 57
7x-2y=21

Answer:

By multiplying equation 1 from 7 and equation 2 from 4

28x+7y=399

28x-8y=84

-y=315

y=-315

By putting value of y in equation 1

4x+(-315)=57

4x-315=57

4x=57+315

4x=372

x=372/4

x=93
