divide equation 2 by 2 we get
1/3x+y-1/3x-y=-1/4
and we have equation 1
1/3x+y+1/3x-y=3/4
add 1 and 2 we get
2/3x=1/2
so x=4/3
1/3x+y-1/3x-y=-1/4
and we have equation 1
1/3x+y+1/3x-y=3/4
add 1 and 2 we get
2/3x=1/2
so x=4/3
