solve the following simultaneous equation :-

x + 3y = 10-(i) ; 2x - 3y = 5 -(ii)

Required Answer :-

Adding both the equations :-

x + 3y = 10

+ 2x - 3y = 5

___________

3x = 15

x = 15/3

x = 5

put x = 5 in equation (i)

x + 3y = 10

5 + 3y = 10

3y = 10 - 5

3y = 5

y = 5/3
