solve the following simultaneous equations. (1) 2x+y=-2; 3x-y=7​

Answer:

2x+y= -2————1

3x-y= 7————2

adding this eq.no 1 and 2

2x+y = -2

3x-y = 7

5x = -5

x = -5

X = -1

putting the value of X in eq. no.1

2x+y = -2

2(-1)+y =-2

-2+y = -2

y= -2+2

y= 0
