hey dear.
=) x/2 + y/3 = 6
So talking Lcm and multiply by 6 both sides.
=) 3x + 2y = 36 -----------(1)
=) 2x - y = 3 ---------------(2)
multiply eqn ( 2 ) by 2 and add both eqn
3x + 2y = 36
4x -2y = 6
+____________
7x + 0 = 42
=) x = 42/7 = 6
put value if x in eqn (2)
=) 2(2) - y = 3
=) 4 - y = 3
=) y = 4 - 3 = 1
so value of x = 6 , y = 1
