answer

EQ.1 3x-y=-5

  • 3x=-5+y
  • x=(-5+y)/3

substituting the value of x in eq.2

2x+3y=-7

  • 2{(-5+y)/3}+3y=-7
  • (-2+2y)/3+3y=-7
  • (-2+2y+9y)/3=-7
  • -2+11y=-21
  • 11y=-19
  • y= -19/11

now putting the value of y in eq.1 to find x

3x-(-19/11)=-5

  • 3x+19/11=-5
  • 3x=-5-19/11
  • 3x=(-55-19)/11
  • 3x=-74/11
  • x=-74/33
