Step-by-step explanation:

8x - 9y = 6xy ______(1)

10x + 6y = 19xy ____ (2)

(1) × 6 => 48 x - 54y = 36 xy

(2)× 9 => 90x + 54y = 171 xy

_________________

138 x + 0y = 207 xy

therefore 138x = 207 xy

138 = 207 y

since x is cancel

therefore y = 138/ 207 = 1.5

y= 1.5

subsuit y value in (1) equation

8x - 9 (1.5) = 6 (1.5) x

8x - 13.5 = 9x

8x - 9x = 13.5

- x = 13.5

x = - 13.5
