Step-by-step explanation:

solution:-

3x+2y=11 .......(i)eq

2x+3y=4 ......(ii)eq

by using substitution method,we get

take eq(i) find the value of x

3x+2y=11 ..........(i)eq

3x=11-2y

x =  \frac{11 - 2y}{3}

now put the value of x on (ii)eq

2( \frac{11 - 2y}{3} ) + 3y = 4

 \frac{22 - 4y}{3}  + 3y = 4

now take lcm

 \frac{22 - 4y + 9y}{3}  = 4

now 3 is multiply on RHS

22-4y+9y=12

5y=12-22

5y= -10

y= -2

now put the value of y in x ,we get

x =  \frac{11 - 2 \times  - 2}{ 3}

x =  \frac{11 + 4}{3}

x =  \frac{15}{3}

x=5

the value of x=5 and y= -2
