Solve the following system of equations:
21/x+47/y=110

47a + 21b = 162 ........(2)

now, a short trick to find x and y

add both the equation,

by adding the equation ,we get ,

a+ b = 4 ........(3)

now, by subtracting the equation,we get ,

a-b = 2 ........(4)

now, solve the equation 3 and 4 by any method,

by solving ,we get,

a= 3 and b= 1

comparing the equation,

(1/x) = 3 , (1/y) = 1

x = 1/3 y= 1
