Value of x is 1 & y is 2

Step-by-step explanation:

Given,

\frac {2x + 5y}{xy} = 6  ""(1)

& \frac {4x - 5y}{xy} = -3 ""(2)

Adding both equations (1) and (2) we get -

2x + 5y - 6xy + 4x - 5y + 3xy = 0

  • Hence, we get

6x - 3xy = 0

y = 2

Substituting y = 2 in equation (1) we get -

2x + 5(2) - 6x(2) = 0

2x + 10 - 12x = 0

-10x + 10 = 0

x = 1
