Solve the following system of linear equations:

(a – b)x + (a + b)y = a2 – 2ab + b2

(a + b) (x + y) = a2 + b2​

Answer:

let us suppose that

(a-b)x+(a+b)y=a2-2ab+b2. i

(a+b)x+(a+b)y=a2+b2. ii

subtract I from ii

2(a-b)x=2ab+2b2

2(a-b)x=2b(a+b)

(a-b)x=2b(a+b)/2

x=(a+b)

put x in ii

now put the value of x in ii then u will get the answer of y
