Find the value:

Step-by-step explanation:

\ Given \ value:\\\\ x-2y=7......(i)\\\\3x+ y =35.......(ii)\\\\\ Solution:\\\\\ In \ Equation (i) \ multiply \ by 3 \ then \ subtarct \ from \ Equation (ii)\\\\  x-2y=7  \times  3 \\\\3x-6y=21\\\\3x+y=35\\\\\ Subtract \\\\-5y= - 14\\\\y = \frac{14}{5} \\\\\ put \ the \ value \ of \ y \ in \ equation \ (i)\\\\3x+ y =35\\\\3x + \frac{14}{5}= 35\\\\\frac{15x+14}{5} = 35 \\\\ (15x+14) = 175\\\\15x=175-14\\\\15x=161\\\\x= \frac{161}{15}\\\\

x= \frac{161}{15} \ \ \ \ \ and \ \ \ \ y = \frac{14}{5}
