Given : \frac{1}{3x} + \frac{y}{9} =5------ (1)

Given : \frac{1}{5x} + \frac{y}{2} = 16 ------ (2)

On solving (1) * 15 & (2) * 25, we get

 \frac{15}{3x} + \frac{15y}{9} = 75

 \frac{25}{5x} + \frac{25y}{2} = 400

------------------------------------------------------------

                                15y/9 - 25y/2 = -325

                                -65y/6 = -325

                               -65y = 1950

                                   y = 30,

Substitute y = 30 in (1), we get

1/3x + y/9 = 5

1/3x + 30/9 = 5

LCM = 9x

3 + 30x = 45x

3 = 45x - 30x

3 = 15x

x = 3/15

x = 1/5

Therefore x = 1/5 and y = 30.

Hope this helps
