solve the following systems of equation chapter pair of linear equation in two variables

Solution :

It is given that,

  • x = - 1
  • y = 3

We've to keep the value of ' x ' and ' y ' and in our mind and form the pair of linear equation. There can be infinite pairs of linear equation.The only point we've to keep in mind is that in order to get the unique solution, the linear pairs must satisfy the condition : a1/a2  ≠ b1/b2.

Let's see..

i ) 3x + 5y = 12

   2x + 3y = 7

ii ) 2x + 2y = 4

    3x + 6y = 3

Following this method, you can find many such pairs.
