Correct Question ⭐

solve the following systems of equations:

2x+3y=8

x+2y=0

------------------------

2x+3y=8 ....(1)

x+2y=0 ....(2)

To eliminate y , we multiply (1) by 2 and (2) by 3

4x+6y = 16

3x+6y = 0

(-) (-) (-)

------------------------------

x = 16

=> x = 16

Putting the value of x = 16 in the equation no (1) we get,

=> 2x+3y=8

=> 2(16) +3y = 8

=> 32 + 3y = 8

=> 3y = 8-32

=> 3y = 24

=> y = 24/3

=> y = 8

Hence, the value of

x = 16 and y = 8
