Solve the following?

the circumference of a circular field is 308 metre, find its area?

Answer:

Let the radius of the circle be r cm

Circumference of the circle=308

Therefore,

2πr=308

r = 2×22 divided by 308×7

r=49m

Therefore,

Area of the circle= π×(49²)

= 22/7 x 2401

= 7546²
