i) Side of  the big triangle (a) = 100 m

  Perimeter of the big triangle (P_{1}) = 3a  = 3 x 100 m  =300 m

ii) Side of  the small  triangle (l) = 100 m -10 m  =90 m

   Perimeter of the small triangle (P_{2}) = 3l  =3 x 90 m  =270 m

iii) The difference between the two perimeters = P_{1} - P_{2}

                                                                              = 300 m - 270 m  

                                                                              = 30 m
