X-y =4. ----------------(ii)

(ii)×2

2×X -2×y=4×2

2x-2y=8 ---------(iii)

(I)-(iii)

2x+y=3

2x-2y=8

3y=-5

Y=-5/3

To (I)

2x-5/3=3

2x=3+5/3

2x=14/3

X=7/3

So x=7/3

Y=-5/3...
