1. 5 times a number subtracted from 63 gives 18. Find the number.

3. The length of a rectangle is 7 times its breadth. If the perimeter of the rectangle is
96 m, find its length and breadth.
4. Bhanu's father is 4 times as old as Bhanu. After 5 years, he will be 3 times as old as
his son. Find their present ages.
5 Find the number if 3th/4 of a number is 2 more than 2rd/3 of the same number.


6. The denominator of a fraction exceeds its numerator by 5. If 2 is added to both
numerator and the denominator, the fraction becomes 4/5. Find the fraction.
