Given :-

1. A milkman has 20 litres of milk .
2. He sells 15•3/5 litres of milk .

To find :-

• The quantity of milk is left to be sold

Solution :-

The quantity of milk sold by the milkman is

= 15•3/5 L = 78/5 L

The total quantity of milk that the milkman has = 20 L .

Therefore ,

The quantity of milk left after selling is ,

= (Total quantity of milk) - (Quantity of milk sold)

→ 20 - 78/5

→ 100 - 78 / 5

→ 22 / 5

→ 4.4 L

Answer :- 4.4L much milk is left with him.
