3x - y = 5
________
5x = 10
or, x= 2
then, putting value of x in one of the eqn.

Answer:
x = 2
y = 1
Explanation:
2x + y = 5
3x - y = 5
5x = 10
=> x = 10/5
=> x = 2
Substituting the value of x we get:-
2×2 + y = 5
=> 4 + y = 5
=> y = 5 - 4
=> y = 1
