so here, b = +2, c = -3 , a = +8
so putting it in the formula
-2 ± √4 - 4 [ 8 ×( -3)] / 2×8
-2 ± √4 + 96/ 16
-2 ± √100/ 16
-2 ±10 / 16
so
x = +8/16 => 1/2
x = -12/16 => -3/4
