Given :   x > –3

To find : Solve the given inequality graphically in two-dimensional plane

Solution:

graphically in two-dimensional plane: x > –3

two dimensional plane  x > - 3

Lets first draw graph for x = - 3

As no condition for y hence y can take any value

so graph would be parallel to y axis at x  = - 3

now lets check graph would lie on which  sides

A point lying on graph on x axis  = ( - 3, 0)

lets check  (0 , 0) origin

0 > - 3

Hence x > - 3 grapg will lies toward origin & further  but line at x = -3 will not be included

as - 3 is not > - 3

Lets check also towards left of (- 3 , 0)

let say ( - 5 , 0)

- 5 < - 3 Hence graph would not lie on left sides

Hence graph will lie on right sides of the line drawn parallel to y axis at x = - 3
