Solve the given numerical: a. In a tug of war, team A pulls the rope with a force of 1000N whereas team B pulls it with a force of 1250N. What is the net force acting on the rope and in which direction is it acting?

force 1 =1000N

force 2= -1250N (becase of opposite direction)

net force = force 2 + force 1

=1250 + (-1000)

=1250 - 1000

=250N
