SOLUTION :

Let the number of marbles Nimesh has = x

Then, Number of Marbles Mahesh has = 2x

Number of marbles Vishal has = 2x -3

Given : Total number of Marbles they have = 122

Total number of Marbles they have = x + 2x + (2x - 3 )

122 = 5x - 3

122 + 3 = 5x

125 = 5x

x = 125/5 = 25

x = 25

Number of marbles Nimesh has= x = 25

Number of marbles Mahesh has = 2x = 2×25 = 50

Number of marbles Vishal has = 2x -3 = 2×25 - 3= 50 - 3 = 47

Hence, number of Marbles Nimesh has 25 , Number of Marbles Mahesh has 50 and number of marble Vishal has 47.

Hi ,

Let the number marbles

Nimesh has ' x '

Number of marbles at Mahesh

= 2x

Number of marbles at Vishal

= 2x - 3

According to the problem given ,

Total marbles = 122

x + 2x + 2x - 3 = 122

5x - 3 = 122

5x = 122 + 3

5x = 125

x = 125/5

x = 25

Therefore ,

Number of marbles at

Nimesh = x = 25

Number of marbles at

Mahesh = 2x = 2 × 25 = 50

Number of marbles at

Nimesh = 2x - 3

= 2 × 25 - 3

= 50 - 3

= 47

I hope this helps you.
