∆ABD~=∆ACD

  1. AB=AC
  2. Ang BAD=ANG CAD
  3. ANG B=AND C.

SO by ASA congruence, both the triangles are congruent.

BD=CD by CPCT.

in the given fig. ,

AB = AC (given)

AD = AD (common line)

angle BAD = angle CAD (shown in the figure)

therefore , triangle ABD congruent to triangle ACD

since , both the triangles are congruent , BD = CD

and angle B = angle C
